The first semester is over and done with now. I did pretty good on both of the English tests I had, but not so well on the Biology and Chemistry. The good news is that I ended up doing good in my classes, getting work turned in and my grades up; my GPA for the semester was 3.29, 3 A's, 3 B's and 1 C. Which means that I will be able to have cheaper insurance. Today was the first day of the second semester and I only had 2 classes that were the same from the last semester. I feel like this is going to be a good semester for me and although some of the classes may challenge me at times, they're going to be fun. I feel happy about the new semester because I am starting it out right by not letting myself fall behind in the beginning.

Yeah ,that is so good to hear.
You confused me with your talk about GPA's and 3.29's! LOL. I'm glad you're doing better, although I don't really understand how good a GPA of 3.29 really is. Oh, the joys of homeschooling all my life! LOL. But seriously!
So you never mentioned whether you will be coming to the wedding. You didn't come to Ashley & Bodie's, so I want to hear from you, rather than your Mom, that you are coming, rather than the general terms of "we might be looking for a place to stay". I really hope you come. I am excited to spend some time with you. We are thinking about getting something together for the Young Kids after the wedding, but we'll see how that goes.
Well I've just this year learned how to cacluate my GPA and how it works.
Yes, as of tonight we are planning on coming up for the wedding. We will be staying in Portland on Friday night and driving up the rest of the way on Saturday morning. So, I will be looking for a place to stay. LOL. That would be fun to do something with the young kids after the wedding.
Good For You!! Lower insurance rates are a great motivator.
Well change of plans Sabrina, my parents just decided not to go because my dad can work. So it looks like I wont be up there or looking for a place to stay after all.
Have you heard about the Valentines Formal they're having in Eugene? I just found out about it last weekend. I need to like really soon find out all of the details about it from some one over there, because we are going to probably go over for it (unless our plans change like they so often do).
I have no idea about the formal, except that last Thursday Sis. Trina made a remark about it. I begin to wonder if it is only for the Eugeners, because I hadn't heard anything about it, as I don't think the rest of the Young Kids here did (but I may be wrong about that). Sis. Trina asked if anybody else had heard about it, because they had only found out like that day or the day before. Know how they found out? Isaiah was talking to a girl (I think his girlfriend) in E-e, and she made a remark about it. But I really don't know any of the details at all. If I get offered a ride down there, I'll probably go, but I'll have to ask the ride-giver just how formal it is, what time, etc....
Anyway, I hope you are able to go there, although you aren't probably going to for the wedding. Sometimes these things just happen. Sigh.
I might also mention to you that I started thinking today. When you and I get married (to different men, not to each other, of course! LOL. You probably couldn't figure that out!) As I was saying though, when we get married, it would be cool if we lived near each other. Then we could visit in person more often, see each other in meeting, etc.
Oh, I forgot to say what I was thinking when I got on your blog. Nice background!
Thank you about the background, I like it too. It was hard to decide on which one to pick because there were so many I liked.
I think that it is for all of the young kids, it's just word of mouth, so it's not getting around very fast I guess, but I would think that they probably need to get it around soon cause it's only a few weeks away. Sis. Liz was over here on the weekend and mentioned it to us, but she and Tegan didn't now which weekend they were having it on even, so we just figured that it's probably on the 14th since that is a Saturday. I'm going to try and talk to someone over there, some how and find out more of the details. You might find out more about it this weekend, with all the people from down there coming for the wedding. So, maybe I'll get to see you then.
That would be nice to be able to lever near each other when we are older and married (which will be sooner than we think). I guess we'll just have to wait and see how our lives work out. I really do love visiting with you and wish I could do it in person more often.
I wish I could visit with you in person more often, too. I was also thinking about how I would learn more of the details over the weekend. Sis. Audrey said I should ask Sis. Shay, because she is helping organize some of it, so would know more details. It is being held on the fourteenth, and it is formal/semi-formal. Anyway, I was planning on getting on here a couple days ago, but I didn't get the chance. I was going to get on and tell you that I would learn more over the weekend, and tell you all the details I acquired. Hopefully I'll see you then!
Sabriena
Oh, thank you, I will tell my mom and hopefully I'll see you then.
